Disciple

“At that time John’s disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Why is it that we and the Pharisees fast so often, but Your disciples do not fast?””

“And calling His twelve disciples to Him, Jesus gave them authority over unclean spirits, so that they could drive them out and heal every disease and sickness.”

“As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, He took the twelve disciples aside and said,”

“When Saul arrived in Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.”

“But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brothers.”

“We sought out the disciples in Tyre and stayed with them seven days. Through the Spirit they kept telling Paul not to go up to Jerusalem.”

“After this, the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of Him to every town and place He was about to visit.”

“and when he found him, he brought him back to Antioch. So for a full year they met together with the church and taught large numbers of people. The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.”
