Disobedience to God

“And the LORD said to Moses, “How long will this people treat Me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in Me, despite all the signs I have performed among them?”

“I will strike them with a plague and destroy them—and I will make you into a nation greater and mightier than they are.””

“not one of the men who have seen My glory and the signs I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness—yet have tested Me and disobeyed Me these ten times—”

“This is what your fathers did when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to inspect the land.”

“And I will hold accountable anyone who does not listen to My words that the prophet speaks in My name.”

“If, however, you do not obey the LORD your God by carefully following all His commandments and statutes I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:”

“If, however, you fail to obey Me and to carry out all these commandments,”
