Achbor

Achbor (meaning gnawing or mouse) is the name of two men in the Old Testament: (1.) An Edomite king who reigned before Israel had any king (Genesis 36:38; 1 Chronicles 1:49). (2.) An official of King Josiah, son of Micaiah, who was sent with others to the prophetess Huldah to inquire of the LORD concerning the book of the law discovered during temple repairs (2 Kings 22:12, 14). His son Elnathan later served under Jehoiakim.
