Alush

Place Name

Name meaning: "mingling together"

Alush (meaning mingling together) was one of the stations of Israel's wilderness journey, listed in Numbers 33:13–14 as the encampment between Dophkah and Rephidim on the route from Egypt to Sinai. The site has not been identified with certainty, though it lay somewhere in the Sinai Peninsula in the region traversed between the Wilderness of Sin and the camp at Rephidim, where water was later provided from the rock at Horeb.
