Aristobulus

Aristobulus (meaning a good counselor) is a Roman Christian whose household Paul greets in Romans 16:10. Nothing is stated about Aristobulus himself—only his household members are addressed, suggesting he may have been dead or absent. Some have identified him with Aristobulus the grandson of Herod the Great, a private citizen in Rome, whose freed servants and slaves may have formed a recognizable household group within the Roman church.
