Azaziah

Azaziah (meaning whom Jehovah strengthened or strength of the Lord) is the name of three men in the Old Testament: (1.) A Levite musician who played the harp in the procession that brought the ark to Jerusalem under David (1 Chronicles 15:21). (2.) The father of Hoshea, who was the leader of Ephraim during David's reign (1 Chronicles 27:20). (3.) A Levite overseer of the temple offerings under Hezekiah's reformation (2 Chronicles 31:13).
