Bealiah
Person Name
Name meaning: "the god of an idol; in an assembly"
Bealiah (meaning whose Lord is Jehovah) was a Benjamite, one of the thirty mighty men who came to David at Ziklag while he was still under Philistine pressure from Saul. He is described as skilled with both right and left hand in slinging stones and shooting arrows (1 Chronicles 12:5). His name, unusual for its theophoric form, is the only information Scripture records about him.
