Beeroth of the children of Jaakan

Beeroth of the children of Jaakan (also Bene-jaakan) was a wilderness encampment of Israel listed in the itinerary of Numbers 33:31–32 and Deuteronomy 10:6, associated with the death and burial of Aaron's father Eleazar. Its location east of Canaan is uncertain. The name means wells of the sons of Jaakan, Jaakan being a Horite clan in the region of Edom (1 Chronicles 1:42).
