Canneh

Canneh was an ancient trading city mentioned in Ezekiel's lament over Tyre (Ezekiel 27:23) as one of several Mesopotamian or Arabian trading partners that supplied goods to the Phoenician port. It is listed alongside Haran, Eden, Asshur, and Chilmad as a source of merchandise. The precise identification of Canneh is uncertain; some scholars equate it with Calneh of Genesis 10:10, while others suggest it was a distinct city in the northern Euphrates region or in Arabia.
