Chesalon

Chesalon (meaning strength or confidence) was a town on the northern border of Judah, identified as a point on the shoulder of Mount Jearim (also called Chesalon) in the boundary description of Joshua 15:10. The site is identified with modern Kesla, a village about twelve miles west of Jerusalem in the Judean foothills. It served as a boundary marker between the tribal allotments of Judah and Dan.
