Eliel
Name meaning: "God, my God"
Eliel (meaning to whom God is might or God, my God) is the name of several men in the Old Testament, primarily in the genealogies and military lists of Chronicles. Among them: (1) a chief of the half-tribe of Manasseh east of the Jordan (1 Chronicles 5:24), listed among the heads of the tribe; (2) an ancestor of Elkanah and Samuel in the line of Kohath (1 Chronicles 6:34); (3) two heads of families in Benjamin (1 Chronicles 8:20, 22); (4) a Mahavite warrior among David's mighty men (1 Chronicles 11:46–47); (5) a Gadite who joined David at Ziklag (1 Chronicles 12:11); (6) a Levite porter (1 Chronicles 15:9, 11); and (7) an overseer of temple offerings under Hezekiah (2 Chronicles 31:13).
