Person Name
Name meaning: "heat, or anger, of the Lord"
Harhaiah (meaning heat or anger of the LORD) was the father of Uzziel, a goldsmith who worked on the repair of the Jerusalem wall under Nehemiah's direction (Nehemiah 3:8). Uzziel son of Harhaiah is listed among the guild craftsmen who repaired a section of the wall near the city center during the great restoration project of approximately 445 BC. The family's trade as goldsmiths and perfumers represented the skilled artisan class of post-exilic Jerusalem.
