Harhur

Harhur (meaning fever or made warm) was one of the Nethinim — the temple servants of non-Israelite origin who assisted the Levites in menial temple duties. His descendants are listed among the Nethinim who returned from Babylonian exile with Zerubbabel (Ezra 2:51; Nehemiah 7:53). The Nethinim were likely descendants of the Gibeonites (Joshua 9:27) or other captive peoples assigned to temple service, and their faithful return to Jerusalem to resume their duties reflects the restoration of the full temple administration under Zerubbabel and later Ezra.
