Head-bands

Head-bands (Hebrew kishshurim) are mentioned in Isaiah 3:20 and Jeremiah 2:32 as feminine ornaments. Despite the English translation, the Hebrew term appears to refer more accurately to girdles or belts for the waist rather than bands for the head — the KJV translation of "head-bands" may reflect an incorrect derivation. Isaiah 3:18–23 catalogs an extensive list of feminine adornments that God will strip from the proud daughters of Zion in judgment, including anklets, headbands, crescents, pendants, armlets, sashes, perfume boxes, amulets, signet rings, nose rings, festal robes, mantles, cloaks, and handbags. The catalog's purpose is not to condemn feminine adornment per se but to show how deeply the women of Jerusalem had invested their identity and hope in material luxury rather than covenant faithfulness.
