Helez

Helez (meaning armed; set free) is the name of two men. (1.) Helez the Paltite (or Pelonite), one of David's thirty mighty men, also the commander of the seventh monthly division of the army (2 Sam. 23:26; 1 Chr. 11:27; 27:10). (2.) A man of Judah, son of Azariah, mentioned in the genealogy of 1 Chronicles 2:39.
