Helon
Name
Name meaning: "window; grief"
Helon (meaning window; grief) was the father of Eliab, who led the tribe of Zebulun during the wilderness period (Num. 1:9; 2:7; 7:24, 29; 10:16). Eliab son of Helon assisted Moses in the census of Israel and represented Zebulun in the tabernacle dedication offerings, presenting his tribe's gifts on the fifth day. Helon himself appears only as a patronymic and is not otherwise mentioned in the narrative.
