Heshmon

Heshmon (meaning a hasty messenger) was a town in the southernmost part of Judah's allotment, near the Negev border, listed among the towns in Joshua 15:27. It appears alongside Hazargaddah and Moladah in the southern district of Judah. The site has not been positively identified among known archaeological locations, and the town plays no further role in biblical narrative beyond this allotment list.
