Hezion

Hezion was the grandfather of Ben-hadad I, king of Damascus (Syria), mentioned in 1 Kings 15:18. He was the founder of the Ben-hadad dynasty of Aramean kings. When Asa king of Judah bribed Ben-hadad of Damascus with the temple treasury silver and gold to break his treaty with Baasha of Israel and attack the north, Ben-hadad is identified as "the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus." Hezion appears only in this genealogical reference; nothing else is recorded of him in Scripture.
