Jaaziah

Jaaziah (meaning the strength of the Lord) was a Levite of the family of Merari, listed in the organization of temple service under David (1 Chr. 24:26–27). He had three sons — Beno, Shoham, and Zaccur — who were assigned responsibilities in the temple. The Merarites were the third division of the Levites responsible for transporting and caring for the structural elements of the tabernacle. Jaaziah appears only in this administrative record.
