Joanna

Joanna (meaning: grace or gift of the Lord) was the wife of Chuza, the steward of Herod Antipas, and one of the women healed by Jesus who afterward traveled with him and the Twelve, supporting the ministry from her own resources. She is named among the women who went to the tomb on the morning of the resurrection and brought back word to the apostles that the tomb was empty.

Her presence in both Galilee and Jerusalem suggests she was a woman of means and consistent devotion, and her connection to Herod's household offers a rare window into how Jesus's ministry reached even the courts of Jewish client rulers.
