Jokshan (meaning: an offense; hardness; a knocking) was the second son of Abraham by Keturah, his wife after Sarah's death. He was the father of Sheba and Dedan, ancestors of Arabian tribes. The descendants of Jokshan represent part of the broader family of Abraham's sons by Keturah who were sent eastward and became the progenitors of various Semitic peoples in Arabia and Transjordan.
