Jozachar (meaning: remembering; of the male sex) was a servant of King Joash of Judah who conspired with Jehozabad to assassinate the king at Beth-millo. The account in 2 Kings names him Jozachar son of Shimeath, while 2 Chronicles calls him Zabad son of Shimeath.
