Lasha

Lasha was a place marking the southeastern limit of Canaanite territory as described in Genesis 10:19. Its location is generally placed east of the Dead Sea and is associated by some with Callirhoe, known in classical times for its hot springs on the eastern shore of the Dead Sea. The reference establishes a boundary in the table of nations but is otherwise historically unattested.
