Lehi

Lehi (meaning jawbone) was a site in the tribe of Judah where Samson achieved his great victory over the Philistines, slaying a thousand men with the fresh jawbone of a donkey (Judg. 15:9–16). The place was named after the weapon used there; Samson afterward called it Ramath-lehi ("the height of the jawbone"). Following the battle, God miraculously split a hollow place in the ground and brought forth water to revive the exhausted warrior, and Samson named that spring En-hakkore ("the spring of him who cried out"), which remained there to his day (Judg. 15:17–19).
