Mehetabel

Mehetabel (meaning how good is God or favored of God) was the wife of Hadar (or Hadad), one of the later kings of Edom, listed in Genesis 36:39 and 1 Chronicles 1:50. She was the daughter of Matred and granddaughter of Me-zahab. Mehetabel is one of the few women named in the Edomite king lists, which is itself unusual in ancient genealogies and may indicate her family's particular prominence.
