Meraiah

Meraiah (meaning rebellion or stubbornness) was a priest in Jerusalem in the days of Joiakim the high priest, representing the priestly family of Seraiah (Nehemiah 12:12). He appears in the list of priestly heads of families in the post-exilic community of the restoration period. No other details of his life or ministry are recorded in Scripture.
