Meshillemoth

Meshillemoth was the name of two figures in the Old Testament. The first was an Ephraimite whose son Berechiah opposed the plan to enslave Judahite captives after a victory of Pekah king of Israel, appealing to the law and the LORD's anger (2 Chronicles 28:12). The second was an ancestor of a priestly family that settled in Jerusalem after the exile (Nehemiah 11:13). The name likely derives from the same root as Meshullam, meaning peace or recompense.
