Mezahab

Mezahab (meaning gilded or whose waters are gold) was the grandfather of Mehetabel, who was the wife of Hadar (or Hadad), one of the kings of Edom listed in Genesis 36:39 and 1 Chronicles 1:50. He appears only in these genealogical notices. The name may suggest a place rather than a person — some scholars read it as a toponym, waters of gold, denoting a location associated with the Edomite royal family.
