Mibsam

Mibsam (meaning smelling sweet) was the name of two individuals in the Old Testament. The first was the fourth son of Ishmael and Abraham's concubine Hagar, listed among the twelve princes of Ishmael (Genesis 25:13; 1 Chronicles 1:29). The second was a descendant of Simeon, son of Shallum (1 Chronicles 4:25). The Ishmaelite Mibsam may have given his name to an Arabian tribe known for fragrant spices.
