Migron

Migron (meaning a precipice or fear) was a place in the territory of Benjamin associated with Saul's military movements during the campaign at Michmash (1 Samuel 14:2). It lay near Gibeah and Michmash. Isaiah 10:28 lists Migron on Sennacherib's line of march toward Jerusalem: He has come to Aiath, he has passed through Migron; at Michmash he stores his baggage. The site is likely identifiable with a location in the narrow Benjamin plateau north of Jerusalem, though the exact identification is disputed.
