Minnith

Minnith was an Ammonite city mentioned in Judges 11:33 as the eastern limit of Jephthah's victory over the Ammonites: he struck them from Aroer to the vicinity of Minnith, twenty cities. The city also appears in Ezekiel 27:17, where it is listed alongside Judah and Israel as a source of wheat traded with Tyre — they traded in your market wheat of Minnith, millet, honey, oil, and balm. This suggests Minnith was located in the fertile agricultural zone east of the Jordan, probably in the highlands of ancient Ammon (modern Jordan). The exact site has not been positively identified.
