Misham

Misham (meaning their savior or swift) was a Benjaminite, the son of Elpaal, listed in the genealogy of 1 Chronicles 8:12 among those who built Ono and Lod with their villages. This brief mention preserves the memory of a Benjaminite clan leader who was involved in building or rebuilding towns in the Shephelah region west of Jerusalem — towns that appear again in the post-exilic lists of Ezra and Nehemiah as settlements of the returning exiles. Misham is otherwise unknown.
