Naaran

Naaran (also Naarath, Josh. 16:7) was a town in the territory of Ephraim, mentioned in 1 Chronicles 7:28 as part of the Ephraimite settlements. It is identified as lying east of Bethel in the Jordan valley region. The town is otherwise historically obscure, known only from these two brief geographical references.
