Nagge

Nagge (also Naggai) appears in Luke's genealogy of Jesus Christ as an ancestor through the line of David (Luke 3:25). He is listed between Maath and Esli in the descent from David through Nathan rather than Solomon. Beyond this genealogical reference nothing is known of him; his name is the Greek form of the Hebrew Nogah, meaning "brightness" or "clearness."
