Nahaliel

Nahaliel (meaning valley of God; inheritance of God) was a stopping place of the Israelites during their wilderness journey, listed in Numbers 21:19 between Mattanah and Bamoth in the region east of the Dead Sea. It was probably a wadi or stream-valley in the territory of Moab, possibly identified with the Wadi Zerqa Ma'in that runs into the Dead Sea from the east. The name suggests a well-watered ravine understood as God's provision.
