Nahallal

Nahallal (also Nahalal or Nahalol) was a town in the territory of Zebulun assigned as one of the Levitical cities for the Merarite clan (Josh. 19:15; 21:35). The Canaanite inhabitants were not expelled but were put under tribute (Judg. 1:30). Its exact location in the Jezreel valley has been identified with Tell en-Nahl or possibly Malul, but the identification is not certain.
