Naphish

Naphish (meaning refreshed; he that rests) was the eleventh son of Ishmael and grandson of Abraham through Hagar (Gen. 25:15; 1 Chr. 1:31). He is the ancestor of the Naphishites, an Arabian tribe that was defeated by the Reubenites, Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh east of the Jordan (1 Chr. 5:19). The tribe submitted to Israel and their flocks and goods were taken as spoil.
