Nephtoah

Nephtoah (or the "waters of Nephtoah") was a spring on the border between Judah and Benjamin, appearing in both tribal boundary descriptions (Josh. 15:9; 18:15). It is identified with Lifta, a village about two miles northwest of Jerusalem, where a strong spring rises near the border of the two territories. The site marks an important watershed and tribal boundary point.
