Nisroch

Nisroch (meaning flight, proof, or temptation) was an Assyrian deity in whose temple Sennacherib was worshipping when his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer murdered him (2 Kings 19:37; Isaiah 37:38). This ironic scene — the Assyrian king who had blasphemed the God of Israel being slain in the house of his own god — is presented as a vindication of Hezekiah's prayer and a demonstration of the LORD's sovereignty over the gods of the nations. Nisroch's identity is uncertain; he does not correspond clearly to any known major Assyrian deity, and the name may be a Hebrew distortion or a minor divine name.
