Oboth

Oboth (meaning bottles, waterskins, or fathers) was a wilderness campsite of the Israelites during the Exodus journey, recorded in Numbers 21:10–11 and in the summary itinerary of Numbers 33:43–44. Israel camped there after defeating the Amorite king Sihon and before encamping at Iye-abarim on the boundary of Moab. The exact location in the Arabah east of Edom is uncertain, though some scholars place it near modern Ain el-Weiba. Oboth represents one of the many transient stops in the long wilderness march east of the Rift Valley.
