Pasach

Pasach (meaning: clearing or dividing) was a son of Japhlet, a descendant of Asher, mentioned in the genealogical register of the tribe of Asher in 1 Chronicles 7:33. He appears alongside his brothers Bimhal and Ashvath in the listing of Japhlet's sons. The name Pasach occurs only in this single genealogical reference.

No events or achievements are ascribed to Pasach beyond his inclusion in the tribal genealogy of Asher. The Asherite genealogies in 1 Chronicles 7:30–40 are among the more complete tribal records in the Chronicler's work, listing the clans and notable warriors of the tribe. Pasach's inclusion marks him as a recognized ancestor within the Asherite family tree, though his significance beyond the genealogical record is not elaborated.
