Raamah

Raamah was a son of Cush (grandson of Ham) listed in the Table of Nations (Genesis 10:7; 1 Chronicles 1:9), whose descendants settled in the Arabian peninsula. He was the father of Sheba and Dedan, two peoples who figure prominently in Old Testament trade narratives. Ezekiel 27:22 names the merchants of Sheba and Raamah among those who traded with Tyre in spices, precious stones, and gold. The territory of Raamah is generally associated with ancient south Arabia, in the region of modern Yemen, where both Sabaean and Dedanite tribes are historically attested.
