Ramath-lehi

Ramath-lehi (meaning height of the jawbone or casting away of the jawbone) was the place in Judah where Samson killed a thousand Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey (Judges 15:17). After the feat, Samson named the place Ramath-lehi to memorialize it. He was then desperately thirsty and cried to God, who opened a spring from the jawbone's hollow — a spring called En-hakkore (fountain of him who called), which remained in Lehi to this day according to the narrator (Judges 15:18–19). The exact location is unknown.
