Rapha
Person
Rapha (possibly meaning tall, related to Rephaim; or lax) was the name of two individuals in the Old Testament. The first was the fifth son of Benjamin (1 Chronicles 8:2), appearing in the later genealogical lists though not in Genesis 46:21's original list of Benjamin's sons — possibly reflecting a later descendant elevated to clan status. The second was a Benjaminite ancestor of the family of Saul: Rapha son of Binea and father of Eleasah (1 Chronicles 8:37; 9:43). The Rephaim or giants associated with the Philistines (2 Samuel 21:15–22) are called sons of harapha in some translations, suggesting a connection to this name.
