Reba

Reba (meaning the fourth or a square) was one of five Midianite kings slain by Israel in the punitive campaign commanded after the Baal-peor apostasy (Numbers 31:8; Joshua 13:21). He and his four royal colleagues — Evi, Rekem, Zur, and Hur — were princes of Midian who were vassal rulers under Sihon king of the Amorites. Balaam son of Beor was also killed in the same campaign (Numbers 31:8). The five kings represented the leadership of the Midianite confederacy that had seduced Israel into idolatry at Peor, making them targets of the divinely commanded military response.
