Remmon-methoar

Remmon-methoar (meaning Rimmon which is marked out or Rimmon to Neah) appears in Joshua 19:13 as a place on the northern border of Zebulun. The phrase is likely a compound boundary description — the border reached toward Rimmon and went on to Neah — rather than a single place name. Rimmon (the Pomegranate) was a town north of Nazareth, possibly modern Rummana. The border description of Zebulun in Joshua 19:10–16 is notoriously difficult to trace precisely.
