Rhesa

Rhesa (meaning will or course) was an ancestor of Jesus in Luke's genealogy, the son of Zerubbabel and father of Joanna, in the descent traced through David (Luke 3:27). He appears only in this genealogical list. His position as son of Zerubbabel the post-exilic governor is noteworthy, as it connects the Lukan lineage through the restoration leader who led the first return from Babylon.
