Rimmon-parez

Rimmon-parez (meaning pomegranate of the breach or pomegranate of the pass) was a station in Israel's wilderness journey, listed in Numbers 33:19–20 between Libnah and Rissah. It was one of the encampment sites during the forty years of wilderness wandering between Sinai and Moab. Its precise location in the Sinai peninsula has not been identified. The name may reflect a geographical feature — a split or gap in the terrain near which pomegranate trees grew.
