Silverling

Silverling is an archaic English term appearing in the KJV of Isaiah 7:23 to translate the Hebrew keseph (silver, money): every place where there were a thousand vines worth a thousand silverlings. The word is simply a diminutive or informal designation for a silver coin or piece of silver — it does not correspond to a specific denomination but captures the sense of individual silver pieces used as units of value. Modern translations render the same verse as a thousand silver coins or a thousand pieces of silver. The context describes the desolation coming upon the prosperous vineyards of Judah when the land is overrun and the carefully cultivated terraces revert to briers and thorns.
