Tabrimon

Tabrimon (meaning "Rimmon is good") was a Syrian king of Damascus, son of Hezion and father of Ben-hadad I (1 Kgs. 15:18). He is mentioned only in the genealogy of the Syrian royal house, in the context of King Asa of Judah sending a gift of silver and gold to Ben-hadad I, citing the league between their fathers — including Tabrimon — to persuade Ben-hadad to break his alliance with Baasha of Israel. The name incorporates the Aramaean storm deity Rimmon (Hadad), attesting to the religious culture of the Damascene kingdom.
